COMEDIAN Eric Omondi took to the pitch in Legio Maria attire during the Zambia vs Kenya clash on Sunday, August 17.
He claimed that the Harambee Stars' 1-0 victory over
Zambia in the 2024 CHAN was due to divine intervention.
As the national football team secured their win at
Kasarani Stadium, the comedian turned to prayers.
In a hilarious video he shared, the comic could be
seen wearing a green Legio Maria attire, surrounded by people at the stadium.
He cheered the team and danced with other fans, lay on his belly at the terrace
as he prayed for Harambee Stars.
Captioning his post, he wrote:
"Tulienda Mapema tukafunga kila kitu kwa Maombi
ndio Harambee Stars Wafunge (We went early and prayed for everything, and
that's why the Harambee Stars won)."
